51.When it comes to the debate whether students should make friends online, there are thousands of Hamlets in thousands of characters. As far as I’m concerned, online dating is risky.
There are several unavoidable risks for dating online. To begin with, chatting online wastes time and energy and therefore, it will hinder our improvement on study. Then, after being accustomed to chatting online, you may lose the ability to communicate with others face to face in real life. Last but not least, you may run the risk of being cheated by the strangers while dating online. However, some, but not most, hold that chatting online can provide a wide access to the whole world to share secret with friends, express various thoughts and insights. There is no doubt that it is beneficial for our foreign language learning as well.
To conclude, the disadvantage of dating online outweigh its advantage. If you must chat online with others, especially with strangers, please be careful and learn to protect yourself.
