I'm glad to know of your plan that you will visit China. In this letter. l'd like to tell you some details about the Chinese Spring Festival.
The Chinese Spring Festival falls on the first day of the Chinese Lunar New year. typically in late January orearly February. Before the festival, the Chinese usually clean the house and buy a large number of goods to usher inthe new year. Couplets and paper-cuts will be put up on doors and windows. On the New Year's Eve, the Chinesefamily will get together to have a "reunion" meal with dumplings, meat, fish and so on. After the dinner. the familymembers will sit together to watch the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. What's more. they will sing and dance incelebration for the beginning of a new year.
