The Decreased Population of Wildlife
Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is clearly shown in the bar chart, the species of wild animals havedecreased sharply in the past three decades. With about 30000 kinds of animals reduced on average each year, therewere only l.5 million left till 2010.
There are several factors accounting for this problem such as increasing environmental pollution, destroy ednatural habitats of animals and many other human activities especially illegal hunt, which is fatal for the survival ofanimals. Human beings are making attempts to hunt wild animals for their fur or other valuable organs and make a big profit through catering to some people's pursuit of fashion.
In my opinion,a national public campaign should be launched to give animals a good living environment. In addition, the govemment should make and enforce stricter laws and regulations to forbid killing wild animals. For us ordinary people, we should refuse selling and buying animal products such as animal fur and ivory.
